At The Prop Emporium we are committed to offering our customers great products at affordable prices with friendly service.
To cover both you, the hiree, and ourselves, the hirer, we need to outline some basic terms and conditions of hire. If your questions are not answered in the list below, please contact us and we’ll be more than happy to help.
The hire period is 4 days from Friday prior to the event date to Tuesday following the event.
For weekday hire, pick up is arranged the day prior the event and items are returned three days after the event.
Please refer to the Props+Hire page for individual cost of hiring an item. In addition to this charge there is a $150 Cash Bond.
For bookings over $150 or less, a bond of $150 applies. For bookings above $150, a $200 bond is payable. All bond payments are made via PayPal at the time your hire balance is due.
All large prop hire ( including but not limited to, Lemonade Stand, Vintage Cart and all plinths) require hiree to provide their credit card details and drivers licence)
These details shall be kept on file and if required, the hiree agrees to these details being used to compensate any damages/lost of property
The bond shall be refunded within 3 business days on return of all hire items, and if they meet our return policy *
A late fee of $20/day shall be charged for any items not returned on time.
Any items not returned shall be treated as theft.
All Cancellations must be made in writing. Any cancellations made 30 days or more prior to an event will result in a 50% deposit being refunded. No refund will be available for items cancelled 7 days prior to an event.
